Your Favourite Winter Activities
Winter weather may have arrived–but don’t hibernate, embrace it! With your help on Facebook and Twitter and some suggestions from around our office, here, in no particular order, are some fun ideas for keeping warm this winter! We'd love to hear your suggestions, too, just post your idea below.
- Reading a good book inside on a rainy day with a glass of wine
- Watching movies in front of the fire
- Sailing (from an adventurous sort!)
- Wine-tasting – nothing like a good glass of Pinot to warm you up from the inside out!
- Thermal Pools in Hanmer Springs and Rotorua
- Baking your favourite treat, warms up the house and leaves it smelling wonderful
- Flying somewhere warmer! (A bit cheeky but a valid suggestion none the less!)
And for the snow bunnies out there, we’d be remiss not to mention all of the great snow activities around! Queenstown is one of the best places in the country to embrace the snow, (or the wine for the less adventurous). For more great winter activities, the AA has compiled a good list here.
So get out there and enjoy! And of course let us know how it goes!
