Having all our hotels cook with healthier vegetable based oil alternatives.

While many of the advances brought about by the Good Food Project will be significant, we recognise that for some people it is the little adjustments that will mean the most.

One by one we are determined to ensure each of our hotels cook with healthier vegetable based oils such as New Zealand extra virgin olive oils, rice bran oil, sunflower oil and other vegetable oil, instead of cooking with fats.

Studies have shown that vegetable oils aid the metabolism and are easier to digest. They are also rich in linoleic acid (LA), an essential nutrient that can help lower the risk of heart disease.
