Heritage Christchurch Nominated In World Luxury Hotel Awards 2018

Heritage Christchurch has been announced a nominee in the prestigious international World Luxury Hotel Awards 2018.

“This nomination is very exciting on the back of our 2018 Canterbury Heritage awards win in the tourism category. We hope we can keep the winning streak going and very much welcome votes from our supporters,” says Astrid Hay resident manager of Heritage Christchurch.

Set in the city’s 105-year-old former government building, Heritage Christchurch is a refined choice for leisure guests and business travellers.

The building was designed by renowned architect Joseph Clarkson Maddison in an Italian Renaissance Palazzo style and is considered of ‘monumental’ importance to the city by architecture experts.

Heritage Christchurch was the 2017 winner of the best luxury heritage hotel Australasia and Oceania region, plus, best luxury historical hotel New Zealand. The hotel was also recognised in the luxury awards 2016 in the heritage category.
