What Time Is Check-In And Check-Out?
Check-in time is at 2:00 p.m., and check-out is at 10:00 a.m. If you're arriving earlier, we can hold your bags or can possibly make your room available for an early check-in if pre-arranged (charges may apply). Late check-out can be arranged, subject to availability (charges apply).
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
Our cancellation policy will be on your booking confirmation, but in general, for prepay packages or non-flexible packages, there is no refund for cancellation. Flexible packages usually allow cancellation 24 to 48 hours before the 2:00 p.m. check-in. Please check your booking confirmation for your specific cancellation policy.
Is Heritage Dunedin A Pet-Friendly Hotel?
Unfortunately, our property is unable to take pets. Please contact us regarding working support and care dogs.
What Is The Hotel’s Smoking Policy?
In accordance with New Zealand smoking legislation, our properties are smoke-free. Each property does have a designated smoking/vaping area outside. There is no smoking/vaping in rooms or public areas. Cleaning charges may apply if a guest is found to have smoked inside the building.

Is Heritage Dunedin A Kid-Friendly Hotel?
T.H.E. Heritage Experience ensures that as part of our Play Experience, our properties are children-friendly. We provide holiday packs on arrival, and our front-office team is able to provide you options for local activities.

Yes, Heritage offers complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi at our properties. A fair-usage policy applies, and charges may apply if excessive usage is detected.
Is Room Service Available?
Yes, room service is available during meal-service times. After hours room service is not available at this time.
Are Turndown Services Available?
No, turndown services are not available.
Does Heritage Dunedin Have A Pool and Spa?
We do not have a pool or spa, but we can offer complimentary access to World Gym at Forsyth Barr Stadium.
Is Parking Free?
Yes, our hotel has ample free parking on site for your convenience.
Is There Laundry Services Available?
Yes, we offer a coin-operated washing and drying facility within the hotel, along with next-day service for dry cleaning and pressing.
Does Heritage Dunedin Have Event Venues and Meeting Spaces On-site?
Yes, we have two spaces: our McGavin Room, located off reception, is the largest of our rooms, while the smaller Oast House is ideal for boardroom-style events. Our Events Manager is contactable at functions@heritagedunedin.co.nz.

Yes, visit McGavin's Restaurant located at the hotel. McGavin's offers hearty meals made from fresh, local ingredients and a range of local and international wines and beers.
Does Heritage Dunedin Have A Bar?
Yes — stop by McGavins Bar, open daily from 4.00 p.m - late.
Transportation
Is There An Airport Shuttle Available?
Yes, Super Shuttles can be booked via the hotel and charged to your room. Please note that 48 hours' notice is required.
Is Car Service Available?
We work closely with all of the various car providers and will be happy to arrange your transfer.
