Heritage Re-Signs As National Partner With Nga Haerenga The New Zealand Cycle Trail
Heritage and CityLife Hotels, and Heritage Collection are proud to announce they have re-signed as a National Partner with Nga Haerenga The New Zealand Cycle Trail.
Continuing to support The New Zealand Cycle Trail was an obvious choice for Heritage Hotels as its coverage of the trails throughout New Zealand is extensive, with properties on sixteen of the 22 Great Rides. The focus on The New Zealand Cycle Trail in offering regional dispersal for Tourism New Zealand, aligns with Heritage’s Free Independent Travellers (FIT) focus for overseas and local guest’s accommodation when these travellers are visiting these spectacular cycle trails.
According to the chief executive of Heritage Hotel Management, Graham Yan, the reason for continuing to support this local initiative is to make the regions more attractive to local and overseas travellers.
“Heritage’s connection with the other National Partners and trail partners from all sectors of the market; tour operators, bike rentals, transport and the local trail businesses, means Heritage is able to offer premium accommodation options to complete the product range on the trails. Cyclists having an option to rest after a day on a trail tour at one of Heritage’s properties which will ensure they are refreshed for their next day of exploring” says Graham Yan.
“Our properties ensure they are catering for cyclists with secure storage for their bikes, facilities for cleaning and washing their bikes and clothes, and our concierge and front office staff are trained in who the reputable local operators and bike hire shops are in their region.”
Janet Purdy, general manager of Nga Haerenga The New Zealand Cycle Trail Inc says "We are delighted to have Heritage re-sign as a national partner and will be working closely with Heritage Hotels and their Heritage Collection properties that are located close to the Great Rides. There's nothing quite like the promise of a premium stay at the end of a day's riding and Heritage Hotels certainly offers that and goes much further. We welcome Heritage Hotels re-signing as a national partner and thank them for their continued support and commitment."
