Q. What is included in the venue hire?
A.  Tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, glassware, white table clothes, white or black napkins, dance floor & staffing.

Q. Do we get the venue hire cheaper if our wedding is not on a Friday or Saturday?
A. Yes we have a mid week 1/2 price venue hire and 1/2 price equipment hire for weddings on Sunday-Thursday*.  The 1/2 price venue hire only applies to the ballroom and not Isobel’s Restaurant and Bar. Wedding final account must exceed $5,000.

Q. Do you have more than one wedding on the same day?
A. No we only have one wedding at the hotel. We do however still operate our restaurant and bar.

Q. Can we bring our own alcohol?
A. No, we have no BYO license.

Q. Can we use our own caterers?
A. No, we have our team of experienced chefs.

Q. Can we bring our own seafood or beef in?
A. Unfortunately due to health department standards we must get our produce from our own registered suppliers.

Q. Do we have wheelchair access?
A. Yes.

Q. What time does the music have to stop?
A. Midnight.

Q. What time does the bar close and guests have to be off the premises?
A. Last drinks are called at 11.40 pm, the bar will shut at midnight and all guests must be off the premises by 12.30 am.

Q. What is the maximum capacity for a wedding reception?
A. 90-105 (200 cocktail style) in the ballroom, up to 150 in Isobel’s Restaurant.

Q. Can we have our wedding ceremony on site?
A. Yes.

Q. Do you have a dance floor?
A. Yes.

Q. Do you provide a cake table and cake knife?
A. Yes.

Q. Does the venue hire include chair covers?
A. No, these are additional.

Q. Do you decorate the venue and tables?
A. We set the tables and will guide you on your centre pieces as these are a very personal additional to the room. We suggest you put your own place names on each table.

Q. Do you provide printed menus?
A. Yes we can print these on white or ivory paper for an additional cost.

Q. Can we have confetti?
A. No.

Q. Can we have fireworks?
A. No.

Q. Are you able to cater for specialised ethnic, vegan or vegetarian menus or different dietary requirement?
A. Yes our Executive Chef will work to create the menu you are looking for along with any dietary requirements.  The menus in the wedding pack are a guide.

Q. Can we choose another menu or make up our own?
A. Yes.

Q. Can you recommend a cake decorator/photographer?
A. We have a list of contacts. However we recommend you make this decision as everybody has different expectations.

Q. Is there free parking for our wedding party and guests?
A. Yes.

Q. Are there any local marriage celebrants?
A.  Yes we have three in Hanmer Springs.

Q. Do you have a honeymoon suite?
A. Yes, this is free of charge on your wedding night if your wedding final account is above $5000.

Q. How many churches are in Hanmer Springs?
A. Three.

Q. What is your payment and cancellation policy?
A. Listed on the standard terms and conditions, the deposit is non refundable unless we book another wedding on that date. The $1,000 deposit is deducted off the final account.

Q. Do you provide wedding planning services?
A. We will guide you with any questions you may have and assist you to create a wonderful wedding.

Q. Can a helicopter land at the hotel?
A. No.
