Janet Neesham Appointed International Sales Manager
Heritage Hotel Management is delighted to announce the appointment of Janet Neesham as their international sales manager, based in its corporate headquarters in Auckland.
Janet has built a reputation in New Zealand inbound tourism and is well known in the industry. She was a founding director of Pacific Destinations New Zealand (PDNZ) with her focus on Europe and the Americas for 20 years until 2015.
For the past four years, Janet has been contracting for an array of clients including GO Rentals, Haka Tourism Group and Whyte Waters Group.
“Janet has built up an enviable reputation - not only in New Zealand, but also internationally within the broader tourism industry,” says Garrick Loft, general manager sales and marketing Heritage Hotel Management. “She has the industry experience to step straight into this important role.”
Prior to PDNZ, Janet worked as manager for Europe and Americas at Thomas Cook NZ Ltd, as well as a consultant for Europe and Latin America for Atlantic and Pacific Travel.
“As well as the operational aspects of my career, my roles have always involved sales and marketing in our overseas markets,” says Janet. “I have always placed particular emphasis on customer relationships, managing the retention and growth of existing accounts as well as prospecting for new customers.”
Janet completed a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in language at the Auckland University.
Fluent in Spanish and German, conversant in Italian, French and Portuguese, Janet is also a member of Latin America New Zealand Business Council.
