5 Aug 2015

Heritage Auckland’s culinary team have added to the trophy shelf with some wonderful wins at the New Zealand Culinary Fare over the weekend.

Karan Lamba and Srikanth Pochampally won silver in the Curry Cup Open category for their rich spicy shahi murgh masala dish whilst Navneet Yadav secured a bronze in the Live Open Dessert category for his decadent chocolate fondant.

Dadan Riyana and Yae Imaizumi also achieved a certificate of participation for their efforts.

As if that isn’t enough, Jinu Abraham, Heritage Auckland’s executive chef, has been announced a finalist in the Ōra Salmon Best Dish NZ competition. Final category winners are announced on October 20 in Marlborough. His entry dish is pan fried Ōra King Salmon, sweet pea mousse, raspberry vinaigrette pearls, wakame flakes and truffle crisp. This delicious dish is on the new Hectors' dinner menu at Heritage Auckland.
