What Time Is Check-In And Check-Out?
Check-in is from 2:00 p.m. and check-out is at 10:00 a.m. If you're arriving earlier, we can hold your bags or can possibly make your room available for an early check-in if pre-arranged (charges may apply). Late checkout can be arranged, subject to availability (charges apply).
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
Our cancellation policy may be found on your booking confirmation, but in general, for pre-pay packages or non-flexible packages, there is no refund for cancellation. Flexible packages are usually 24 to 48 hours before the 2:00 pm check-in. Please check your booking confirmation for your specific cancellation policy.
Is The Reef Resort A Pet-Friendly Hotel?
Unfortunately, our property is unable to host pets. Please contact us regarding working support dogs.
What Is The Hotel’s Smoking Policy?
In accordance with New Zealand smoking legislation, our properties are smoke free. Each property does have a designated smoking/vaping area outside. There is no smoking/vaping in rooms or public areas. Cleaning charges may apply if a guest is found to have smoked inside the building.
Does The Reef Resort Have Accessible Rooms?
Unfortunately, our property does not offer accessible rooms for guests.
Is The Reef Resort Good For Business Travellers?
Yes, we're pleased to provide guests with complimentary WiFi and printing support.
Is The Reef Resort A Kid-Friendly Hotel?
Yes, we are children-friendly. We have a heated fresh water pool, as well as, bicycles for rent. Additionally, our reception team are able to provide you with options for local kid-friendly activities.

Yes, we offer complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi at our properties. A fair usage policy applies and charges may apply if excessive usage is detected.

Yes, we have a heated fresh water pool and a naturally heated thermal spa pool.

Yes, we have off street parking available (one carpark per room).

Yes, we offer self-service laundry facilities for guest convenience.

Unfortunately, we do not offer event or meeting space.
Does The Reef Resort Have A Restaurant?
No, there is no on-site restaurant, however, we do offer Continental and cooked breakfast and will be happy to deliver it to your room.
Does The Reef Resort Have A Bar?
No, we do not have a bar on-site.
Is There An Airport Shuttle Available?
Yes, we offer a free airport shuttle service from Taupo, for your convenience. You must book this service in advance. Please contact us to book this service.
Is There A Car Service Available?
No, unfortunately, we do not have a car service available.
