Heritage Queenstown New Appointment, Sales Manager
Heritage and CityLife Hotels are delighted to announce the appointment of Ms Melissa Couch as the new Heritage Queenstown sales manager. Her role is to manage and coordinate sales and marketing for the hotel with a focus on conference business.
“Heritage Queenstown has a great reputation as a conference and events hotel, with the Icon Room’s modern, versatile facilities and fantastic views. This role also offers the opportunity to extend the personal service that Heritage Queenstown is renowned for from the first client contact to the conclusion of a successful on-site event,” says Melissa.
Melissa was born and raised in Dunedin and has a diploma in hospitality management from the Otago Polytech. She has a wealth of ‘MICE’ market experience from several years based in Melbourne working in four-star-plus hotels in conference and incentive sales roles. She has most recently worked in Queenstown for the last five years.
“It’s exciting to be joining the Heritage team and a hotel chain that is unique to New Zealand. There is a great network of skilled people across the 19 hotels in the group with long term client relationships and wealth of knowledge in event management to be part of,” adds Melissa.
Heritage Queenstown’s award-winning Icon Conference Centre caters for conferences of up to 200 delegates and has a state-of-the-art conference room with spectacular lake views, plus, a unique roof-top level, ideal for special events.
The hotel is popular year-round and caters to both leisure and conference and incentive business. The property has well-appointed refurbished deluxe rooms through to self-contained suites, many with lake views. Hotel facilities include Mackenzies restaurant and bar, a heated swimming pool, sauna, gym and beauty spa.
