After all, a good night's sleep can make all the difference in the world – for better or for worse. Which is why we've sought the help of chiropractors like Dr Simon Kelly to ensure you catch not 39, but 40 winks every night.
Simon's expertise has been invaluable in helping us understand the inherent connection between wellbeing and quality of sleep. According to Simon, energy, immunity, memory and judgement are all dependent on how restful your night is.
With this in mind, we thought long and hard about the beds our guests stay in. For our 'Tranquil' range (introduced across every hotel), we spent months searching for the best beds New Zealand has to offer. For our standard and premium rooms we ended up with two types of Tranquil beds, each with a pillow topper head for a better night's sleep. These provide extra-thick layers of pure natural fibre, with superior postural support from the bed's BioXCell spring system. This is the most advanced technology available for pocket spring systems.
Of course, all that bed jargon alone isn't going to prove anything (although it might put you to sleep). And so the Heritage Executive Management team got into their pjs and put the beds to the test. Satisfied, they trialled them for several weeks with customers, resulting in virtually 100% approval.
With a high-ratio of sleeper-satisfaction, we are now rolling out the Tranquil beds to our hotels, to ensure that you're rested and refreshed during your stay.
